Well here is one very short part of a Three Little Pigs story. Read this story with your partner.
You should take turns reading. Make sure you are following along and actively listening while it is your partners turn. There are two different parts where it says to STOP. These are places you should discuss the question with your partner. When you have finished with the entire story, I would like you to tell your partner all about your "dream house." What would it be like? Include as many details as you can. Lastly, you should answer the 2 questions in your writing notebook. 1) Take your time 2) Write neatly 3) Include good details We know that legends were told from generation to generation. We can learn different things from these legends. Many of them tell what characteristics the people thought were important. Look at how flat this beaver's tail is. It looks kind of weird. Native Americans had a story that explained why it is so flat. Read the story below before answering the questions in your journal.
Sometimes two friends are almost identical. Other times they are completely opposites.
Think to yourself what are your friends like. Do you all like the exact same things? Do you have the same favorite food or color? Think about your best friend but do not talk about that person yet! After reading this unique story answer the 4 problems in your writing notebook (please put the date at the top of the page).
Then I want you to discuss your best friend with your partner. Tell them all about your best friend and let them tell you in return. |
